Take a leading role in organizing and managing candidate forums prior to elections as well as other opportunities that educate our members on current government and economic affairs. Ensure that PYP maintains its independence in the political and economic arenas. Identify additional, tangible civic engagement and political projects to execute and identify opportunities to survey membership and take an active stance on an issue. Reports to the Vice President of Community Impact and serves on the Community Impact Committee.
The mission of Pensacola Young Professionals is to develop, retain, and connect young professionals to the community and each other. Chair positions are a part of the leadership team, but are not voting members of the Board of Directors. Chair positions are entry-level positions designed to provide members with opportunities to get involved in the organization and learn more about the organization.
