Take a leading role in creating programming that convenes and educates members and the Pensacola community on Economic Development, Government Affairs, and Community Development news and opportunities including organizing and promoting candidate forums prior to elections. Identify additional, tangible economic development and political projects to execute and identify opportunities to survey membership and take an active stance on an advocacy issue. Helps identify sponsors and partners for Community Impact events and activities. Reports to the Vice President of Community Impact and serves on the Community Impact Committee.
The mission of Pensacola Young Professionals is to develop, retain, and connect young professionals to the community and each other. Chair positions are a part of the leadership team, but are not voting members of the Board of Directors. Chair positions are entry-level positions designed to provide members with opportunities to get involved in the organization and learn more about the organization.
