🎙️ Young Pros at Bands on the Bayou

We kicked off October with a relaxing night on the water at Bands on the Bayou! PYP members and prospective members gathered early to grab a spot before Cowboy Park hit the stage, enjoying great music, cooler fall weather, and easygoing conversations.

🤝 PYP 101: Your Intro to PYP

Our October PYP 101 session welcomed a fantastic group of new and prospective members eager to learn how PYP creates impact across Pensacola. We loved meeting so many new faces and helping young professionals discover how they can plug into our community.

🍻 PYP + AFP Joint Happy Hour

On October 9, we partnered with the Association of Fundraising Professionals – West Florida Chapter for a joint Happy Hour at The Reservoir—and what a night it was! Two incredible groups came together for a fun, high-energy evening of networking, collaboration, and meaningful conversation. Attendees made new connections, learned about both organizations, and enjoyed an opportunity to strengthen professional ties across industries.

🎒 Service Saturday: Landrum Every Step Counts 5K

PYP showed up in full spirit at the 3rd Annual Landrum Every Step Counts 5K, supporting Lakeview Center’s mission to promote mental wellness in our community.

Volunteering at the water station, our team cheered on runners and walkers, kept participants hydrated, and helped create an encouraging race-day atmosphere.

✨ PD After Hours: Building Confidence and Trust

Our October PD After Hours with Claire Escobedo delivered a powerful and relatable session for early-career professionals. Claire shared practical strategies for building credibility, finding leadership opportunities, and navigating workplace dynamics—especially when you’re the youngest person in the room.

⛴️ Triple Threat Cruise

The Triple Threat Cruise returned for its biggest year yet! Members of PYP, NAIOP Northwest Florida, and Leadership Pensacola set sail for an evening of sunset views, great food, and outstanding networking. With delicious bites from PYP and drinks provided by Cauley & Co. and Clark Partington, attendees enjoyed a memorable night across Pensacola Bay.

☕ October Coffee & Conversations

We wrapped up the month with a warm and energizing Coffee & Conversations. Young professionals gathered to share ideas, meet new people, and kick off their morning with great discussion and community connection.
