About the 20th Anniversary
In 2026, Pensacola Young Professionals proudly celebrates 20 years of impact in the Pensacola community. What began as a vision to connect and support young professionals has grown into a dynamic organization dedicated to leadership development, community engagement, and meaningful connection. Throughout the summer, we are honoring the people, partnerships, and programs that have shaped PYP—while also looking ahead to the next chapter of growth and impact.
Our Story: Where It All Began
Founded in 2006, Pensacola Young Professionals was created to give young professionals a voice, a place in the community, and a network to grow both personally and professionally. Over the past two decades, PYP has evolved into a cornerstone organization in Pensacola—bringing together individuals from diverse industries and backgrounds to build relationships, develop leadership skills, and create positive change. From its early days to now, PYP has remained committed to its mission: to develop, retain, and connect young professionals to the community and each other.
20th Anniversary Initiatives
From March 31 through September 17, 2026, Pensacola Young Professionals will celebrate 20 years of impact, connection, and leadership through a series of intentional initiatives designed to honorour past and strengthen our future. Led by the PYP 20th Anniversary Committee, this campaign focuses on four key areas:
Storytelling, Marketing and Communications
We are bringing the story of PYP to life by highlighting the people, moments, and milestones that have shaped the organization over the past 20 years.
Through member stories, alumni reflections, and a curated “20 Years of Impact” timeline, we will showcase the growth of Pensacola Young Professionals and the lasting impact it has had on individuals and the community. Follow along through blog features, social media spotlights, and anniversary communications as we celebrate each chapter of our journey.
Alumni and Community Engagement
Our anniversary is an opportunity to reconnect with the leaders and members who helped build PYP while strengthening relationships that will carry us forward.
We are engaging past presidents, board members, alumni, and community partners to celebrate their contributions and invite them to be part of this milestone. Through intentional outreach and engagement opportunities, we are building a stronger, more connected PYP network for the future.
Fundraising and Sponsorships
As we celebrate 20 years, we are also investing in what comes next.
This initiative focuses on building a strong financial foundation to support the continued growth and impact of Pensacola Young Professionals. Through anniversary sponsorships, donor engagement, and a targeted fundraising goal, we are creating opportunities for individuals and organizations to contribute to the next generation of leadership in our community.

The celebration will culminate on September 17, 2026 at Blue Wahoos Stadium, where members, alumni, and community leaders will gather for an unforgettable evening honoring 20 years of Pensacola Young Professionals.
