June was an action-packed month for Pensacola Young Professionals!
Thank You for Serving With Us! Earlier this month, our PYP members rolled up their sleeves and came together for our Service Tuesday: Waterfront Rescue Mission event — and what an impactful evening it was! Together, we served over 100 meals. We’re so grateful to Waterfront Rescue Mission for the incredible work they do in our community and for allowing us to be part of it. From prepping and serving to cleaning up, our volunteers showed up with servant hearts and made a real difference. Thank you to everyone who joined us to support this mission of hope and compassion. Let’s continue to give back and show up for those in need — we can’t wait to see you at our next service event!
We kicked off our summer league with energy, teamwork, and a lot of laughs! Our first kickball practice and game brought together members ready to play hard and build friendships off the field.
New and prospective members got the inside scoop on everything PYP during our June PYP 101! From getting involved in committees to finding your community, attendees left ready to dive in.
We kept the connections going strong at June’s Happy Hour! Members and guests mixed, mingled, and made new friends over great drinks and conversation at Blend Lounge.
We had an incredible time at the Pensacola Blue Wahoos game in June! A huge thank you to all our members, prospective members, and four-legged friends who came out to cheer on the Wahoos with us! A special highlight of the night: our very own PYP President, Anna Lochas, was interviewed on the field and had the honor of throwing out the first pitch of the game! We’re so grateful for fun nights like this where we can connect, unwind, and make memories together. Thanks again to everyone who came out—we can’t wait to see you at our next event!
Cam Jackson shared real-world strategies to help young professionals build genuine connections and make networking less intimidating. Members left energized and ready to confidently grow their circles.
We had a fantastic time at our latest PD After Hours: How to Network – Quick Keys to Connections workshop! A huge thank you to Cam Jackson, Director of Membership and Engagement at the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce, for sharing your expertise and giving our members practical tools to build stronger, more confident connections. And of course, thank you to everyone who joined us—we love seeing our members grow, learn, and support one another.
Great coffee, casual chats, and new connections! Our June Coffee & Conversation was a laid-back way for members to start the day with good company and meaningful dialogue. Thank you to PJ's Coffee for hosting us!
What an incredible night at our Community Roundtable: Building Pensacola – Economic Growth & Impact! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to join the conversation about the exciting growth and development happening right here in our city. We are incredibly grateful to our panelists for sharing their time, insights, and expertise:
A special shoutout to our moderator, Scarlett Sullens, PYP’s Chair of Community Engagement, for not only leading a thoughtful and engaging discussion, but also organizing this impactful event. Your leadership made this all possible. Thank you to our sponsors FloridaWest and CO:LAB Pensacola for your continued support and for helping us bring this important conversation to our members and community.
