PYP Opens Applications for 2026–2027 Board of Directors and Leadership Team

Pensacola, Fla. — Pensacola Young Professionals (PYP) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the organization’s 2026–2027 Board of Directors and Leadership Team. PYP is seeking driven, community-minded young professionals ready to build connections, develop as leaders, and help shape the future of the Pensacola Bay area.

PYP is the place where emerging leaders can find community, strengthen their knowledge of our region, and feel empowered to make a positive impact. The organization’s programs and events are made possible by a dedicated team of volunteer leaders who commit their time, talent, and passion to serving members, partners, and the broader community.

Applications must be submitted by January 16, 2026.

All candidates must be PYP members in good standing and will complete a peer interview as part of the selection process. Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the first week of February 2026, with final decisions presented at the February Board of Directors meeting. Selected leaders will begin onboarding in March and officially assume their roles on April 1, 2026.

Open positions for the 2026–2027 term include:

• Treasurer
• Vice President of Community Impact
• Chair of Networking
• Chair of Professional Development
• Chair of Membership
• Chair of Mentor Pensacola
• Chair of Community Engagement

Board members commit to attending monthly Board of Directors meetings, quarterly program meetings, and major PYP events. Chairs lead and participate in committee meetings, collaborate on quarterly programs, and engage with members throughout the year. All leaders are expected to participate in Board Orientation and the annual leadership retreat.
