The PPDI works to improve the Pensacola Bay Area by cultivating the professionalism and leadership ability of individuals in our region.

The mission of the Pensacola Professional Development Institute is to promote the professional and personal growth of its members and thereby improve the surrounding community. We define leaders as those who influence others, embrace their role in their organization, and eagerly explore opportunities to better themselves and their work environment.  The PPDI provides a unique opportunity to educate and equip each individual with tools that they can immediately implement within their organization.

PPDI The PPDI started in 2007 when the Pensacola Young Professionals partnered with the Studer Group to develop a quarterly community-wide leadership series, now called the Signature Series.

Since then, the PPDI has hosted and developed additional courses and seminars for the community, including the Chick-Fil-A Leadercast, the 360’ Leader, and several Emerging Professionals workshops.

Each session is designed to capture the attention of our participants with cutting-edge curriculum, provide an environment that encourages networking, and effectively keep each participant actively engaged in the implementation of the learned material.

This team is always looking for new members to help brainstorm new ideas and organize courses and seminars. If you are interested in serving on the PPDI advisory committee, please contact Rachael Gillette at 850-332-7820 or rachael@pensacolayp.com.

Visit the PPDI website at PPDI.PensacolaYP.com to learn about and sign up for any of the courses offered.
