Are you new to Pensacola? Are you new to PYP? Not sure about where to get started? If so, you need a PYP Ambassador!
It can sometimes be daunting attending a meeting alone, when it looks like everyone already knows everyone. The Pensacola Ambassador Program is designed to connect new members with current members and introduce you to PYP to help you learn more about our organization. PYP may be able to provide you or your business with networking and marketing opportunities, as well as an opportunity to meet new and interesting people. Your Ambassador will meet you and discuss how you would most like to get plugged in to PYP as well as accompany you to the first few meetings and events.
Pensacola Young Professionals’ primary mission is to share our passion for the Pensacola Bay Area and to show others that it is a thriving and dynamic place to live, work, and play. We believe you’ll find that Pensacola is just to your liking!
For more information about the program, you can contact Taylor Simmons the Pensacola Ambassador Program Chair.

A testimonial from Cerys H. – PYP member
“The Pensacola Young Professionals’ Ambassador Program provided me with opportunities I had never dreamed of accessing after just moving to Pensacola. For the first few weeks in my new home, I can honestly say that I not know anyone and I didn’t know the city. Truly, I could barely give directions to Downtown from Cervantes Street. While hesitant at first, I allowed myself to be accessible to the people and programs PYP had to offer. From community involvement to business networking events to causal evenings and making new friends, I have gained an appreciation for the Pensacola community which may have taken years to develop on my own.
Within three months, because of my Ambassador, I can not only navigate around town but I have become an active member of PYP and Co-Chair for one of their diverse teams. I sincerely believe that had I not had the opportunity to participate in the Ambassador Program, I would have missed enjoying many of the special places and people the great city of Pensacola has to offer a young professional new to the area.”
