Networking Team

The mission of the Networking Team is to allow PYP members to network with each other and to encourage the professional and social development of PYP members. Bring your ideas and get involved!

The Networking Team spearheads several efforts during the year. The team organizes PYP Pub Clubs, which are a monthly networking socials hosted at various locations around Pensacola. Pub Clubs are held on the third Thursday of every month. The Networking Team also partners with other local organizations to hold special functions for members of both organizations. This has included co-sponsoring events with the Pensacola Opera, Pensacola Museum of Art, various local Rotary Clubs, and other young professional organizations.

Speed Networking Lunches are hosted quarterly at the offices of Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund. These lunches afford members and non-members alike the opportunity to connect with other young professionals in the community in a fun and efficient way.

The Networking Team organizes PYP’s annual dinner meeting every March. The meeting recognizes the current board and incoming board, along with founding members who are present. Each year, our dinner features a prominent guest speaker who offers encouraging words for the members and guests and speaks on current topics in the Pensacola area. Previous guest speakers have been Joe Scarborough (host of “Morning Joe” and former State Representative) and Malcolm Thomas (Escambia County School Board Superintendent). This annual meeting allows the members to recap what we have accomplished during the year.
