Requirements
Student applicants:  As of the Summer 2012 semester, you must be a currently-enrolled college senior or graduate student in order to apply for the Internship Pensacola program. Interested students should first peruse the list of available internships (see the “Available Internships” page of this site) and select two or three positions of interest. Students should then follow the three steps outlined on our “IP Application” page. In addition to the application, students are required to submit an up-to-date resume, an application fee of $25.00, and one recommendation letter from either a university faculty member or a past/present employer.

Important Dates

February 19:  deadline for employers to submit positions to IP program
February 20 - March 9:  student applications accepted throughout this period
March 5 - March 25:  three-week period for employers to conduct interviews and choose intern(s)
March 26 - March 30:  internship offer letters issued to students, who may then accept/decline offered positions
April:  students register for professional development classes through UWF
May 14 - August 10:  thirteen-week internship session, during which the selected interns will go to work, attend professional development classes, and enjoy PYP-led social and networking events
