Who are Pensacola Young Professionals?
There are different categories of membership. The main PYP membership is for Pensacolians between ages 21 and 40. In addition PYP now offers an alumni and student membership. PYP is looking for members who are motivated to make a difference in their community.
Am I able to attend a PYP event before becoming a member?
Absolutely! Join us at an event, meet our members, and decide if PYP is the organization for you. PYP leaders are at every event so feel free to approach them for more information.

What does Annual Membership Include?
A forum to create personal relationships and business networks An increase in awareness and knowledge of the local business and cultural community An opportunity to become involved in the local community with your peers Regular, fun networking events Leadership events and seminars The opportunity to become a leader and gain experience serving as a team chair and on the Board of Directors
How do I become more involved in the organization?
PYP teams are the best way to become actively involved. In addition to regularly scheduled meetings, members are able to meet each other on an informal basis and work on activities and events. New members will typically attend one meeting for each team to discover which interests them the most.
Do I need to RSVP to attend a meeting?
RSVPs are not mandatory for team meetings; however, they are appreciated. In addition, there are certain events where RSVPs are required and it will be advertised. Be sure to check the calendar of events for more information.
Where do you get ideas for events?
From our members, of course! This is YOUR organization so please tell us what events appeal to you. Team meetings are specifically held for the purpose of brainstorming and event planning.
My email has changed. Who should I contact to update the information?
To change any of your contact information (including email address, home or work address, telephone number, etc.), log into the Member Profile area and select Edit Profile. Please allow five business days for the change to take effect.
Does PYP share my contact information?
PYP does not share membership information with outside vendors; however, we occasionally send information to our membership on behalf other non-profit and partner organizations that are hosting events that are of interest to our members (i.e. social events, networking events, etc.).
