EDATE Breaking News!
Survey results are in and PYP Board Votes.
PYP carried out an online survey following an informational campaign on EDATE. 80% of those polled wanted PYP to take a stand on the issue and 60% were in favor of extending EDATE. The other 40% were undecided. The PYP Board voted overwhelmingly to support this initiative.

The Economic Development and Government Affairs Team’s will be assisting in the effort to bring this initiative to the community’s attention in the coming week’s.
Volunteers will be assisting to position signs in support of EDATE around Pensacola and Escambia County. For more information and to volunteer contact Courtney Peterson.
EDATE Q and A

The mission of the Economic Development Team is to increase the involvement of young professionals in economic development issues that affect the Pensacola area. With a wide variety of backgrounds and interests, our team members will stay informed of the initiatives and agendas of all local and state organizations that affect the Pensacola economy. ED Team members will support the mission of the Economic Development Team by attending local City Council and Chamber of Commerce meetings, as well as any other relevant economic forums, and then communicate issues back to our members and board. The ED Team also seeks enthusiastic members interested in representing our organization’s opinions and initiatives on economic issues affecting Pensacola.

In addition, the Economic Development Team works with the Government Affairs Team to support and develop the work of the Better Pensacola Forum.
