Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is comprised of PYP members in good standing who have been active members and are now interested in taking on a leadership role in the organization. The Board meets once a month and provides recommendations and feedback on new PYP initiatives.

Most Board of Director positions are one-year terms with applications due in January, and selection occurring in February. New Board members begin their term in April.

Leadership teams and programs
PYP members have the option to serve on various teams, dedicating their spare time and energy to help execute the organization’s goals and objectives. Teams and programs are the driving force behind PYP’s strategy, member development, and involvement in the community.

New Board members, Team Chairs, and Program Chairs are selected by an interview committee, voted on by the board, and ratified by the membership.

Staff
PYP currently employs a part-time Director, who is tasked by the Board of Directors to oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization. The Director assists the Board and Leadership team with ensuring ongoing excellence in the running of PYP; the Director maintains consistent quality in administration, fundraising, and communications. The Director also assists with the active engagement of PYP volunteers, board members, event committees, alumni, partnering organizations, and funding donors.

Location
The PYP office is at 41 N. Jefferson St., Suite 108 and is generally staffed Mon-Thurs 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You are welcome to visit the PYP office, but please do call ahead at (850) 332-7820 and confirm with the Director that no meetings or events have been scheduled. The Director is also usually available to meet outside of scheduled office hours.
