About PYP

Giving Pensacola’s Young Professionals a voice … A voice in our community. A voice in our future.

Pensacola Young Professionals is a group of diverse young professionals working together to showcase the Pensacola Bay Area as a cool place to live, work, and play. PYP provides its members with opportunities to build relationships with local community and business leaders and to participate in the development and direction of our city.

Formed in 2006 by a volunteer board of directors, PYP give young professionals a voice and an outlet for affecting change in the Pensacola Bay Area. PYP seeks to work hand-in-hand with current community and business leaders to learn from their experiences and to create a young professional-friendly atmosphere, so that our region can not only retain young talent but attract it.

Pensacola Young Professionals care about our community and are proactively making a difference. Through our many volunteer hours, PYP members have supported numerous local causes with a great sense of enthusiasm and an aim at getting things done.

PYP is all about our members and we encourage them to get actively involved. Although we do provide many networking opportunities, we are not simply a group for socializing. Pensacola Young Professionals are passionate about making a difference. Whether it be raising money for a good cause, organizing an economic forum, helping others grow professionally, or taking a leadership role to drive the organization forward in our community, PYP will provide you with the opportunities and support to make your dreams of a better community come true.
