Pensacola Young Professionals Hosts Government Meet & Greet
April 15, 2009
The Pensacola Young Professionals are hosting a Government Meet & Greet on April 29, at 5:15 pm at Seville Quarter. Government officials from Escambia County and the City of Pensacola are invited to meet members of PYP and discuss issues of interest to young professionals in the area.
The Meet and Greet, the second hosted by PYP in the past year, is free and open to members and guests as well as potential members. “Our members look forward to the Meet and Greets as a way to build relationships with our local government officials,” says organizer Miller Caldwell, III, leader of PYP’s Government Affairs Team. “The Pensacola Young Professionals are interested in our city and county leaders’ visions for making the Pensacola area the best it can be.” PYP’s last Meet and Greet drew over 100 guests and was well attended by government officials.
The mission of Pensacola Young Professional is to develop the Pensacola Bay Area as a thriving and dynamic place to live, work, and play by making our fellow professionals and the community as a whole aware of issues shaping the area through proactive civic, social, and professional involvement.
