Who are Pensacola Young Professionals?
Pensacolians between ages 21 and 39 who are ambitious, educated, and wired; those ready to work hard, play hard, and make a difference in their community.

Over 40? You are more than welcome at PYP social events as long as you are young in spirit.

Am I able to attend a PYP event before becoming a member?
Absolutely! Join us for an event, meet some people, and decide if PYP is the organization for you. Board members and team chairs are available at nearly every event - feel free to approach them for more information or ask them to introduce you to some members.

What is the age range for membership?
Membership is limited to young professionals between the ages of 21 and 39. Howerver, people who fall over this age range are more than welcome at PYP social events as long as they are young in spirit.

How do I become more involved in the organization?
The teams are the best way to become actively involved in PYP. Members are able to meet each other on an informal basis and work on activities and events together. Some new members attend at least one meeting of each team to find which team(s) interests them the most.

Do I need to RSVP to attend a committee meeting?
No, RSVPs are not mandatory to attend a team meeting. However, there are certain events where space is limited and RSVPs are required. These events may include dinner clubs, some networking events, etc. Be sure to check the calendar of events for more information.

Where do you get ideas for events?
From our members, of course! This is YOUR organization so please tell us what events appeal to you. To suggest an event, either contact the appropriate committee chair or attend the next meeting of the committee.

My email has changed. Who should I contact to update the information?
To change any of your contact information (including email address, home or work address, telephone number, etc.), log into the Member Profile area and select Edit Profile, or email the change to us. Please allow five business days for the change to take effect.

Does PYP share my contact information?
PYP does not share membership information with outside vendors. However, we may occasionally send information to the membership on behalf other non-profit organizations that may be hosting events that may be of interest to our members (i.e. social events, networking events, etc.).
